Time for a Change

So, haven't posted a journal in a while. How's it going DA? *waves*
Erm, there's not really anyway I can sugar coat this, so I'll just say it outright: I have pretty much lost all interest in Undertale (as part of a much bigger personal problem, but dw about that), and one of the steps I'm taking to start over is making a new DA account, seeing as 90% of my stuff his is Undertale anyway.
So, it's

If you're still interested in following my works, by all means, do so! If you only watched my for my Undertale stuff, this is goodbye. :T
I'm not leaving DA, but is you do still wish to message/interact with me, do so over at the new account now.

I'm gonna try to go for "obscure" things rather than my favourite colour, food, etc. Attempting to open up and such.
Buckle up.
1. I have hammer toes. If you don't know what that means, it basically means that my toes bend downward at the end joint. It's been like it since forever, and I'm pretty sure I was born with them.
2. I joined DA last year-ish, but I've been drawing traditional for forever. The catch is that it wasn't original stuff. I didn't trace, but I always tried to copy an image best I could, judge the proportions and such. I should really post them one day.
3. My Dad wanted to call me "Thor" when I was born. He may have been joking, maybe not. But "Thor Cullen" rolls off the tounge nicely, I think.
4. I have a bucket list, and plan to get a small tattoo everytime I complete one to symbolize it. For instance, I went to see deadmau5 (dance and house musician, my idol) last year, so I plan to get his logo/mau5head tattooed. Gotta remember to get the mouth and eyes filled in though, otherwise I'll be taken for a hardcore Mickey Mouse fan.
5. I have an aspiration to be a Youtuber. At first it was for gaming, but after discovering people like TheOdd1sOut (
) and stuff, I've become inspired to strive to improve my animation and just overall drawing game. I'm working on a cartoon persona for myself, as a matter of fact.
6. I wrote fanfiction before it was cool. No, really. When I was a lot younger, I watched a lot of Courage the Cowardly Dog, and I wrote stories about him interacting with monsters of my own design. The most prominant memory I have of one I wrote was of this monster that disguised itself as his shadow, and had five eyes; one at the end of each limb.
7. I was born in Essex. Yeah, that's right, the city where chavs are born. Anyways, lived there for about 3 years before my parents pack up and move to South Wales. Been living here ever since.
8. I was "that kid" in my Primary/Elementry school. And the first half of Secondary/High school, to be honest. I know, I know, it's cliche. The old "guy on the internet is an introvert, outcast, sob story, yada yada" business. But back then I was quite the attention seeker. I'm not proud of it, and seriously regret being like that at times, because I feel like it's given me a reputation that people would find it hard to look past if they were to meet me as I am now.
9. I mainly listen to Dance and House, EDM, Techno and stuff, but have a soft spot for Classical music. It's my Dad's fault, but goddamnit if you haven't listened to Classical music at at least some point in your life, you haven't lived.
10. I've had a rabbit for seven and a bit years. He's called Patrick, for those who don't know, and he's the damn cuttest thing you'll ever see. We got him about seven years ago as an Easter bunny (don't worry, we took real good care of him) when he was just three months old.
Phew, halfway there.
11. My inspirations throughout my life have ranged from English Teacher, to DJ, to Writer, to Actor, and finally, to Youtuber. Man, sounds real depressing when you say it out loud, huh?
12. My senses in my forearms are next to none. This means I've been about to wear my sleeves rolled up in freezing weather and been able to brag out it. Sucks to be you family. Maybe next time don't force me to go on Winter walks.
13. I won a silver medal in my running club's overall 400m times two years ago. Needless to say I was proud of myself.

15. I'm only just starting to learn to touch type (type without looking at the keyboard). Like, those of you who can do it... How??
16. The name "Beanster" comes from my love of wearing beanies 24/7 (hence my previous username of "BeanieXYZ"). The "3" in there was added because "Beanster" on DA is an inactive account that's 12 years old.
17. I've never broken a bone in my body. Ever. Of course, me typing that just jinxed myself and will wake up tomorrow with broken arms, several dislodged fingers, and a cracked rib.
18. My Birthday (9th July) is Australia's Constitution Day.
19. My Dad's friend, who I call "Uncle" but isn't really, co-hosts a car show. Look up "Edd China - Wheeler Dealers". He builds his own cars and has a crazy "car" that's designed like a sofa. I can confirm it's epic.
20. And finally, I'm on a small game development team known as "Team Perselia Comet". I'm their pixel artist.

So I've known for a while that there will always be toxic people on tumblr. Some aren't so bad, and others will not stop until what you enjoy most is a burning wreck.
I hate those people, but what I cannot and will not stand is when you're having a (semi-civil) argument with someone, they say their point, and then block you to prevent you from replying. Not only is this the most fucking cowardly move I've ever heard of, whoever they were aguing against is left frustraited, angry, and just pissed off in general. (Of course, if the conversation has just degenerated into outright bullying, by all means, block them)
If you block someone mid-argument, you've lost. (And ending it with "lmao bye" or something doesn't make it any better). You haven't won, and you're in no way a better person for it. If anything, it just proves to people that you can't handle an argument due to either having a poor argument in the first place or just having weak evidence/points.
Yeah this is subtly based on shipping wars, but it can apply elsewhere too.
Moral of the story: Don't be a prick. Finish your arguments. And if you can't do that, at least have the decency to close the conversation properly.
